SONGBIRDS...live™ is back for a new season of the concert series featuring Caribbean female vocalists. Production One Ltd. continues this performance showcase in 2010 featuring, from June to November on the first Wednesday of the month, some of the most notable upcoming and unheralded female voices in contemporary music in Trinidad and Tobago with an ear turned to Jazz and World Music.

THE CONCERT SERIES

Production One Ltd. presents SONGBIRDS...live™. Always creating opportunities for live performance with a difference, Production One Ltd. took a different turn from the proven and successful Jazz Artists on the Greens, to create an intimate series focused on the female voice.

Singing in sometimes new collaborations that offer just enough of the improvisatory surprise that is the hallmark of jazz, these smaller productions from Production One Ltd. serve as a platform for the recording of the singers and their performances. The range, from neo-soul to world jazz to quiet storm, places SONGBIRDS...live™ in a position far separate from the plethora of jazz gigs popping up around the city of Port of Spain.
