Leaning towards the Caribbean Jazz idiom for inspiration, Jazz Artists on the Greens® has grown into the largest Caribbean jazz event in Trinidad and Tobago with the potential to expand further. On Saturday March 16, 2013 the event will celebrate its eleventh anniversary, a milestone in the entertainment industry locally and regionally which points to its validity as an entertainment option here.

As with previous editions, the 2013 event promises a powerful mix of contemporary Caribbean jazz styles, delivered by some of the most talented performers to grace our stages. This year's line-up includes prolific American pannist Andy Narell, The Jesse Ryan 6tet featuring the promising young Trinidadian saxophonist, Cuban-born trumpeter Alexis Baro with his Latin Jazz Sextet, and the exciting Xavier Strings along with other surporise performers. The audience is in for a delightful treat. Showtime is 5:00 p.m.

Started in 2003, Jazz Artists on the Greens® is produced and presented annually by Production One Ltd. This open-air concert, which is now considered "a true social calendar event", is fashioned to encourage its patrons to "walk with their mats and festival chairs" and sit where they are most comfortable as they enjoy good company and great music. "Come for the lime...discover the music!

As Jazz Artists on the Greens® evolves in the new decade of the 21st century, its initial purpose of exposing as many new patrons and young musicians as possible to Jazz has been expanded to include becoming a major platform for the expression of Caribbean Jazz artistes, based locally, regionally and internationally. The high demand by artistes for spots on the show will allow for the inclusion of surprise guests to be confirmed closer to the date.

Over the years we successfully created a true festival atmosphere, by offering space to concessionaires who offer food, drinks, CDs, musical instruments, festival memorabilia and give-aways. For 2013, the range of festival-related concessions and paraphernalia includes local jewellery, Painters/Artists, other food caterers, Leather Craft and musical instruments.

Over the past ten (10) years, our event has received glowing reviews in the press and encouraging responses from our many patrons who have been attending in increasing numbers and we anticipate that 2013's production will continue in this vein of success.

The event is again being hosted at the bucolic Greens at Farm Road, St. Joseph providing a concert experience like no other. This event is outdoor festival styled seating. We encourage JAOTG-patrons to bring your lawn chairs, hats, sun screen, and blankets to sit on the ground in order to enjoy the festival up-close and outdoors on the comfortable lawn. This spacious well-lit, secure facility offers adequate off-the-road parking for patrons' vehicles located adjacent to and within 1 - 2 minute walking distance of the Venue.
