Jyros BandJyros Band
The band was launched in January 2007. JYROS is a response to the musical vision of its musical director, Yaymel J. and to the experience and creative capacity of its other members. This particular aggregate, without percussion, breaks traditions and opens doors that augment the importance of the discourse between melody and harmony. The bass and the piano support the sax. The sax and the bass answer the piano (which, from time to time, is the soloist). The bass defines and extends the final result. Always aware of and sensitive to the Jazz public's interests, besides familiar standards, the repertoire includes a Cuban beat that typifies the work.
